GearoFlow Privacy Policy

Movie Shorts Mobile LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your data. This policy applies specifically to the GearoFlow mobile application.

1. Data Collection: Your "Events" and "Lists"

• User-Generated Content: We store the titles, descriptions, and items within your Events and Gear Check Lists. This data is stored locally on your device to ensure you can access your plans anywhere.

• Permissions: GearoFlow may request access to send you notifications about upcoming Events you have created.

2. Data Usage We use your data strictly to provide the app's functionality. We do not sell your Events or Gear Check Lists to third parties. We do not "mine" your lists for marketing purposes.

3. Data Portability and User-Initiated Exports

• User-Initiated Exports: GearoFlow provides functionality allowing you to export your Events and Gear Lists into a proprietary file format (.gearo). When you choose to use the Export feature, a copy of your data is generated and stored locally on your device or in your chosen cloud storage (e.g., iCloud, Dropbox).

• Data Stewardship: Once a file is exported from the GearoFlow app, MovieShorts Mobile LLC no longer has control over the security, distribution, or deletion of that data. You are solely responsible for the management, storage, and eventual deletion of these exported files. MovieShorts Mobile LLC does not track, store, or maintain copies of your exported files on our servers.

4. Importing Third-Party Data: GearoFlow allows you to import .gearo files created by other users. When you import a file, that data is processed locally on your device. MovieShorts Mobile LLC does not intercept, review, or store the contents of imported files on our servers. Any information contained within an imported file is treated the same as user-generated data and remains subject to the "Local Storage" and "Security" sections of this policy.

5. Your Rights (CCPA/GDPR 2026 Compliance) You have the "Right to Know" what data we hold and the "Right to Delete." You can delete any Event or Gear Check List within the app at any time, which permanently removes that data from you local storage.

Changes and amendments

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at our discretion at any time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the bottom of this page. We may also provide notice to you within the GearoFlow app or via the contact information you have provided. We encourage users to frequently check this page for any changes. Your continued use of the App following the posting of changes to this policy will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.

Acceptance of this privacy policy

You acknowledge that you have read this Policy and agree to all its terms and conditions. By downloading, installing, or using the GearoFlow app, you agree to be bound by this Policy. If you do not agree to abide by the terms of this Policy, you are not authorized to access or use the App. This Policy is incorporated into and subject to our general Website Disclaimer and Terms of Use found at Disclaimer.
