Precision Planning for Every Adventure
Our Story: From the Film Set to the Great Outdoors
GearoFlow was born on the front lines of our work at MovieShorts as a media production company. We spent years managing high-stakes video productions where a single missing cable or a misunderstood "Shot List" could cost significant time and money.
To solve this, we originally created two simple Google Sheets. One to help our own team manage hundreds of pieces of fragile gear and another to keep track of complex script shotlists. We offered these checklists for free to cinematographers and crews, expecting them to stay within the film community.
However, something interesting happened.
In addition to filmmakers, we watched as hundreds of explorers, campers, and overlanders began downloading our sheets to organize their own "rigs" for off-grid adventures. We realized that whether you’re packing an anamorphic lens for a scripted shoot or a portable stove for a mountain peak, the need is the same: Precision, organization, and a "flow" that ensures nothing gets left behind.

Planning Meets Packing
GearoFlow is the evolution of those battle-tested sheets - a mobile-first organization tool we designed to bridge the gap between your plan and your gear. Whether you are prepping for a 12-hour film shoot or a 5-day backcountry hike, the success of your mission depends on two things:
Shotlists: The "What, Where, and When." Organize everything from scripted scenes and camera angles to trail waypoints and camp setups.
Gear Checklists: The "With What." Ensure every piece of specialized equipment is rigged, packed, and ready to move from point A to point B without the stress.
